Myles' Digital Camera Recommendations

I am still a bit of a photography novice. I love taking digital pix though.

I have a Nikon P1. It does all I need it to do for great vacation pix and close ups and pretty much anything a casual camera owner would want to do.

My wife has a Canon Rebel; higher end, zoom lens and so on. My son wants a Nikon D 200 for Xmas. He is great. He is a video cameraman and does very cool video work. He is doing the NY Institute of Photography course. I am going to get him the Nikon and surprise him. This camera is one of the best in the world.

But he also wants an Alienware computer so he can do animation.
